Six schools across Europe are involved in the I feel good project funded by Comenius. These schools are from Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland and Turkey. This gives Staff and pupils from these schools an opportunity to taste the different cultures of each country. This project focuses on investigating and promoting healthy lifestyle through the production of a cookbook. These six schools will communicate regularly through video conferencing, through this website and blogging. The aim of this project is to create "true global citizens" and understand cultural difference and with this understanding to reduce prejudice and stereotypes.
All of the schools are going to be growing all of their own vegetable garden and ingredients for their own food. They will also be visiting local producers to work out a clearer understanding of how food is produced and distributed.
Every school has different aspects to cover throughout the project:
Austria are responsible for collecting the recipes from the other schools and making the layout for the cookbook.
Poland will frequently send out questionnaires and collect statistical data.
Portugal are in charge of making sure all schools are communicating.
Romania will determine the staff and pupil interest in the various themes.
Scotland are in charge of maintaining the website and organising video conferences.
Turkey will collect media from partner schools and edit to produce a DVD documenting the whole project.

Entries should be submitted using a photoblog, which can be accessed from the Blog menu. It is important that you have a blog account. The closing date for entries is yet to be decided, but we will post it here and on the blog thread when it is!
